Naming our Walls
We all have had the sense at one time or another that life is “not the way it is supposed to be.” Maybe it’s because of our circumstances, or our relationships, or a sense of futility in our work, or even a general lack of purpose. But ultimately we realize that “something is not right” in our world. Life has the potential to be more than it is. We have the potential to be more than we are. Something stands in the way, blocking us from the life we were intended to live. There are “Walls” that keep us from experiencing all the potential that awaits us. No longer must we travel through life, separated from God and the life He intends for us to live, because of Walls. Our lives are full of invisible barriers: walls between men and God, walls between church and home life, and walls between ourselves and other people. But Christ’s work of redemption destroyed those barriers once and for all. Join us in this sermon series as we seek to break down walls.
