One Destino Leaders

Raising and Equipping the Next Generation of Leaders

Our VisionOne Destino

The One Destino Leader Summer Internship at Two Rivers Bible Church exists to equip the next generation of leaders into missionally minded men and women who are committed to leading people on their faith journey.
Our summer interns are current college students who are interested in exploring what it looks like to do multicultural vocational ministry.

Take a look at what the Lord has done in Gonzales Texas! A tremendous opportunity to reach the Hispanic community. Back Yard Bible Clubs geared to grade school age children attracted their Spanish speaking family members. Praise the Lord for tying together two cultures that have been divided for too long.

What We do

This is a 3-month or 12 week summer internship that exposes young leaders to ministry on a church staff as well as a number of learning experiences designed to develop a lifelong missional and multicultural worldview.  The ultimate goal of the internship is to equip One Destino leaders into individuals who are passionately committed to reaching the unreached in every part of their lives and fully equipping them to do so.

For three months, interns will be on staff with TRBC working in ministry, engaging in learning experiences and assisting in our Great Adventure Summer Outreach.  This experience is uniquely designed to both grow young leaders and allow them to thrive with opportunities to lead in ministry.

Some of the shared learning experiences include working alongside the Senior Pastor to explore what it means to do multicultural ministries in Christ, also working alongside the Student Ministry Pastor during the launch of the summer Great Adventure Outreach, a short-term mission trip, discipleship, spiritual development, and involvement in a number of other church wide initiatives.

The 2012 summer internship begins at the end of May. It is a paid staff position and the intern is provided housing.  It is more than an internship…it is a 3 month growing experience.

Our prayer is that this experience will expose these young people into vocational ministry as they explore their identity.
