ELDERS

Jesse Elizondo, Lead Pastor / Elder

History / Educational Background

My sophomore year in college, 1998, I met a Campus Crusade Staff at a Billy Graham Crusade in San Antonio who invited me to his bible study group. There he shared about the holiness of God, my inevitable separation from Him due to my sin and the Savior who alone could bridge that gap and restore me into an intimate and personal relationship with Him. It is then that I had faith.

Scott Dierlam

Family

Spouse: Janet Dierlam

Children & Ages: Jillian (6), Luke(4)

History / Educational Background

Education: I graduated from Gonzales High School in 1989.  I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics in 1993.

Testimony: It’s complicated.  I was baptized as an infant at the church that my family attended.  My family began going to a different church at which time my relationship with Christ really developed.  I was baptized a 2nd time when I was approximately 10 years when I actually understood what it actually took for God to sacrifice his son for the forgiveness of our sins.  As I got older, I strayed from my relationship with God.  Although I still went to church during these years, I still felt empty and separated from God.  Broken, I prayed for God to show me His way.  I wanted to know God the very same way that I knew him as a child when I was full of His joy.  I wanted to know God the same way that I knew him before I was tainted by the world.  God helped me understand that I am really forgiven and that I am worth something.  I now pray every day for the opportunity to share God’s Good News so that everyone around me can let go of the past and grab ahold of God’s forgiveness and grace.

History / Educational Background

Joseph grew up not really knowing Christ. He knew of Him but didn’t have a relationship with Him.  He moved to Houston after he graduated and got into the welding industry where God put him around 2 men that loved the Lord, which is not the most common thing in the welding business.  In a small town outside Livingston, Texas, Joseph came to know Christ.  He later moved back to Gonzales and in the last 7 or 8 years he haa seen the Lord work in so many ways.  Joseph has an awesome wife that loves the Lord and their son gets to know Him more every day.  Joseph thank God every day.  As for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.
